CHINESE CARVED STONE SNUFF BOTTLES, LOT OF TWO, each ovoid-form bottle made from a purple and green-toned banded stone, probably Duan/inkstone, with bas-relief carving to one side, topped by metal cap with coral-type cabochon having attached snuff spoon, larger example featuring a dragon and mouse/rat design and smaller example with bearded man figure. Probably 20th century.
Condition: Each in excellent overall condition with minor wear, caps fit slightly loose and tight on bottles.
Size: 2 3/4" and 3 3/8" HOA.
