CHINESE CELADON CRACKLE GLAZE VASE 22 IN

Large Chinese decorative porcelain vase in a Ge-ware style, finished in a pale celadon blue-green glaze with an extensive dark crackle network throughout. Tall baluster-form body with broad shoulders, elongated neck and flared rolled rim. The crackle pattern continues across the exterior and interior, creating the characteristic antiquarian appearance associated with traditional Chinese crackle-glazed ceramics. Unmarked. Visible age-related surface wear, discoloration and areas of loss/chipping along the unglazed foot rim; scattered surface marks and glaze irregularities consistent with decorative use.
