Cloisonné box with its lid decorated with a peach, three scrolls, a potted orchid, writing brushes in a holder, and a vase with plum blossoms against a background filled with gold clouds. The scrolls and writing brushes suggest the owner’s cultivations in the arts, the orchid and plum blossoms signify her noble character, and the peach wishes her longevity. Measures 2 x 6 x 3.5 inches.
