CHINESE EXPORT FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN 'PEEPING TOM' SOUP BOWL, LAST QUARTER 18TH CENTURY
the dished form with puce painted band and swags below the rims, the central roundel with a design of a sportsman with his gun at his side, doffing his hat to a lady seated under a tree, holding a small cage in her lap and holding a string attached to a bird in flight, with another figure high up in the tree's branches watching the scene, all enclosed within a thin band twined with a puce ribbon, gilt highlights, the reverse with three old inventory stickers
