Chinese. Famille jaune porcelain horse and rider figurine standing foursquare. Horse is decorated with short black lines imitating hair, with a western style dressed boy sitting astride a red saddle over cloud and sea pattern saddle blanket. Apparently unmarked. Approx. h. 7.75", w. 6.75 (widest point).
Condition Report: Examined under blacklight. Restoration to tail, small chips to ears with overpaint, and tiny non-distracting chips to foot. Minor glazing / firing imperfections.
