CHINESE IMARI PEACOCK PORCELAIN BASIN ON STAND

Chinese. Large Imari palette porcelain wash basin or punch bowl, the gilt accented interior decorated with two peacocks set amongst chrysanthemums, the exterior of the bowl having Precious Objects, and on a wooden base. Qianlong type mark to the underside. Provenance: From the Estate of Aimee Lacey Champion of Fairmount, Georgia. Approx. of the bowl, h. 5.5", dia. 18.25".
Condition Report: Scratches and some losses/discoloration to the interior; base is separated; firing and glaze imperfections; no apparent chips or restorations when examined under ultraviolet light.
