Ca. 3000 BC; Chinese Neolithic terracotta funerary jar; a tapering body rising from a flat base to rounded shoulders; a short flaring neck, looped handles; painted on the shoulder with four circular medallions decorated with cross-hatched lines and abstract zigzag designs.
