Chinese. Black lacquered six-panel floor screen set with mixed hardstones depicting depicting birds including a rooster and peacock in a landscape to one side, the reverse with gilt florals. Unmarked. Approx. h. 84", w. 96", d. 1" (overall).
Condition Report: Overall with scattered scratches and losses to black lacquer. Some overpainting present to lacquer. Scattered abrasions. Cracking to hardstone with some repairs. White and green surface residue to some hardstones. Scattered chips to leaf components. Dirt and grime present. One panel with loss of lacquer to back.
