Chinese twelve panel lacquer floor screen, the front depicting a domestic scene with pavilions, courtyards and figures along with symbols of good luck including a Fu lion, phoenix, butterfly, crane, and dragon, and likely Pendlai, the Mountain of the Immortals, having text at upper right, the reverse depicting a natural scene of cranes under pine and prunus trees, above reserves depicting auspicious flowers, the whole terminating to brass caps, marked with a metal tag with a flying horse.
