CHIPPENDALE GREEN AND RED PAINTED PINE BLANKET CHEST, PENNSYLVANIA, CIRCA 1800

retains original wrought iron key.
Height 29 ¾ in. by Width 53 in. by Depth 23 ¼ in.

Condition Report:
In overall fine condition. Wear, discoloration and loses to edges consistent with age and use. Retains rich and vibrant coloration to the chartreuse and teal surfaces, however the pumpkin color is slightly faded retaining the original color behind the molding of the drawer edges. One of the till tenons is cracked and lost, but still holds the lid up. The feet had been previously detached and restored.
