Artists: J.A. Gresse, G.F. Watts, Val Princep, and Edwin Landseer
Politicians: WINSTON CHURCHILL (to an editor, asking him not to publish the letter sent by Churchill the previous night, 1 page, 8vo, Carlton Club headed stationery, 18 July 1903), George Wilbraham (speech in the House of Commons, c.1820s, 18 pages)
Writers and Composers: John Ruskin (two signed prints), Benjamin Britten (signed programme)
Ernest Shackleton, signed photograph (“yours truly E.H. Shackleton”)
Also containing many early 20th century signatures on card, by performers, writers, and others
The collection housed in an album, 112 pages, plus blanks, folio, black cloth; crude repairs to spine, some items loose
