CHUSCHIN GAKKI - Jazzbass Fretless MIJ + nouveau coffre - Bass guitar - Japan - 1970

Fretless 4-string bass, CHUSHIN GAKKI (Ibanez Japan factories) , Made in Japan in the 1970s (early 1980s) . Jazz Bass 64' model with black square key markers (present on Jazz Bass models from the late 1970s) . Solid alder body - maple neck Instrument made fret-less (frets removed) , bridge pickup of Japanese origin, warm, melodious sound, neck pickup replaced with Roswell (Korea) , more presence, brighter sound. Initially black, it was recoloured, which produced crackling, creating an interesting marbled effect (see photos) . Like the Fender Jazzb Bass of the 1960s, the strings are slightly closer to the treble side (so it's normal!) Some signs of wear and little scuffs (see pictures) , pickguard slightly clouded, but in good condition considering its age. 2 screws present on the pickguard to attach a protective plate above the pickup (which all bassists remove because it interferes with play) .
