Rare 1900 Civil War Medal of Honor Legion badge - medal for the MEDAL OF HONOR LEGION National Reunion held in Brooklyn, New York. The badge measures 4.5" x 2". The reverse is maker stamped C. G. BRAXMAR 10 MAIDEN LANE NEW YORK. Overall excellent condition. The Medal of Honor Legion was founded in 1890 by Civil War and Indian War Medal of Honor recipients. After the Spanish-American War and Philippine-American, MOH recipients of those conflicts were eligible for membership. After WWI, membership was expanded to include Distinguished Service Cross recipients. Navy Cross recipients became eligible in 1933. In-house shipping is available.
