Pair of cased tintype images from the Civil War. One shows a Union cavalry trooper holding what appears to be a Model 1840 cavalry sword, wearing a slouch hat, with Sergeant stripes on his uniform. Comes with a cased tintype image of a young woman and two girls, presumably this soldier's wife and daughters. The girls have had rouge color added to their faces. This case has a small chip near the clasp. Both images are in excellent condition, one case is very slightly damaged. Excellent
