Civil War Grand Army of the Republic G.A.R. 1st Ohio Volunteer Infantry reunion ribbon for the 28th Annual Reunion held at Hamilton, Ohio on May 17, 1893. Ribbon measures 6.5" x 2.5". Overall very good condition with no tears, a fold, and three pin holes where the ribbon was affixed to the wearer's coat. The 1 st OVI (3 months) fought at 1st Bull Run then after reenlisting for 3 years fought at Shiloh, Corinth, Stones River, Chickamauga, Battles for Atlanta, including Kennesaw Mountain and Peach Tree Creek.
