A bronze three piece Spanish American War Veterans medal with ribbon issued to members of the United Spanish War Veterans. At the top of the medal is bronze American eagle in mid-flight within a laurel wreath in front of a shield with vertical stripes and five-pointed stars. 4) Spanish American War Military Veteran Medal Camp Commander. A Spanish-American War veteran's military medal - Navy. Officer Commander Camp Deputy Commander. The medal is a wreathed eagle and crest at the top of a United States flag ribbon, with each armed force's insignia above a cross-shaped medal reading: Cuba, Puerto Rico, U.S.A., Philippine Islands and Spanish-American War 1898-1902. The reverse of the medal reads UNITED along with labeled compass points. The cloth has some wear and stains, it is still in decent structural condition and retains its appeal. Medal excellent condition. Size 4-5/16" in height and 1-3/4" in width.
