CIVIL WAR M1832 AMES FOOT ARTLLERY SWORD 1833 DTD
Nice original Model 1832 N.P. Ames Foot Artillery Sword. Sword is marked at ricasso with Eagle and N.P. Ames Springfield on one side and United States 1833 TW. 19" blade is fullered on both sides and has a gray patina. Hilt is cast brass with fish scale grip and Federal Eagle on either side of the pommel. It is affixed blade with three rivets, and is peened at the pommel. A very nice example of this sword with partial scabbard. Very Good
