Civil War US Model 1840 "Wristbreaker" Cavalry Sword and Scabbard. Curved bright blade with fuller, maker marked “C. Roby W. Chelmsford Mass.” on one side of the ricasso and “U.S. 1864 A.G.M.” on the other. Leather buffer pad present. Brass hilt, light brown leather handle ( post war restoration) with twisted wire. Blade Length: 35" Total Length: 41"
Condition Report: Good. Unclean. Light oxidation.
