This lot includes a non-regulation red/maroon officer’s waist sash. / A pair of Civil War era cross-stitched suspenders w/ red Moroccan leather button tabs. Suspenders are backed w/ a striped cotton material. Leather sizing straps are intact. 1 Buckle for loop attachment is present. / A white cotton 2 button men’s long sleeve nightshirt. Front has pearl buttons, cuffs have bone buttons. / A pair of cotton knit socks of the Civil War period. / A man’s black hat of the “Phil Sheridan” style w/ a militia cockade eagle on the side. CONDITION: sash shows light overall wear. Suspenders show moderate wear w/ slight staining. Night shirt shows light wear. Socks are a bit discolored w/ some scattered staining. Hat has tears to the body & has been a bit crushed during its lifetime. (02-14203/BF). $500-800.
