Lot of 4 Civil War era signatures from pro-Union politicians during the Civil War. Clifton R. Breckenridge, who served in the Confederate Navy and later became a Democrat congressman and minister to Russia, from Arkansas. George Tankard Garrison, who was a congressman from Virginia, who served in the Confederate Army during the war and became a state senator and congressman after the war. Hilary A. Herbert, who served as Secretary of the Navy under president Grover Cleveland, a congressman from Alabama, and served as a colonel in the Confederate Army during the war. All four signatures appear to have been cut from an album, and include several pages of printed research on each man. Very Good - Excellent
