CIVIL WAR US LOT OF 5 LETTERS & DOCUMENTS

Lot of 6 Civil War and Reconstruction era documents and letters from men who served in the Civil War and rose to prominence after the war. Includes a letter from Lt. Col. George F. Betts, commander of 9th New York "Hawkins' Zouaves", a soldier's return to duty pass for Cpl. Christian Lehman, of Company B, 81st Ohio Infantry; an envelope addressed to Lieutenant John Nelson Partridge of the 24th Massachusetts Infantry, who was wounded at Drewry's Bluff; a short letter addressed to 179th NY soldier Elias Beach dated 1863; and a letter written at Camp Bliss on February 4th, 1863, which is unsigned but an interesting account of camp life. Most have some discoloration and creasing, but overall good. Very Good
