Vaillant & 8 fold. engraved views/ plates by J. Mulder. 4to (ca. 23 x 19 cm.), late 17th-cent. calf with gilt ribbed spine. – Added: 10 separate vols. (in poor condition) of PLUTARCHUS, “De Levens van Doorluchtige Grieken en Romeinen, onderling vergeleeken [..]. [Dutch transl. by E. Wassenbergh & H. Bosscha]. [Vol.] 1-5, 7-8, 10 & 12-13” (Amsterdam, Johannes Allart, 1789-1809, 10 (of 13) vols. With engr. frontisp. & several engr. plates (dep. portraits). Lacks 3 vols. Ex-library copy: sold with all faults).

Ex bibliotheca WOPKE EEKHOFF (1809-1880, Dutch publisher) with his letterpress book-plate mounted on upper paste-down. – A few defects (spine-ends sl. dam./ chipped, upper joint weakening, binding partly rubbed/ worn along extremities, occ. sl. soiled/ waterstained in outer blank margins, occ. sl. foxed/ browned), but nevertheless in an acceptable condition.
