Inscription: Signed in the centre left of the printing plate and subsequently inscribed and dated in ink, each titled in the image: "Flecken Gibelhausen Auf dem Eisfeld" and "Gartaw Adelicher Sitz".

Description: From: Matthäus Merian the Elder: Topographia und eigentlichen Beschreibung der vornembsten Stäte Schlösser auch anderer Plätze und Örter in denen Hertzogthumer Braunschweig und Lüneburg, Frankfurt am Main - Matthäus Merians Erben 1654.. Verso two collection stamps "[...] Fürstl. [...] library".
