2) Personal letter signed "Mrs. Dr Seuss". On Dr. Seuss letterhead.

3) Copy of The Seven Lady Godivas with doodle of a nude woman inscribed and signed "An Extra Godiva for John Marshall Lindley, the greatest Godiva Collector of them all. In awe .... Dr. Seuss".

4) Copy of Yertle the Turtle and Other Stories with doodle of a turtle inscribed and signed "For Marshall with Best Wishes - - Dr. Seuss".

Theodor Seuss Geisel (Massachusetts/California, 1904-1991), better known as Dr. Seuss, was a children's author, cartoonist and animator.

Condition: Minor toning to letters and illustration. Fold lines to both. "Seven Lady Godivas" is heavily toned with considerable wear to cover. Minor wear to the cover of "Yertle the Turtle".
