COLLECTION OF ROMAN MOSAIC GLASS BEADS WITH FACES AND FLOWERS

Ca. 100 BC - AD 100. A collection of 11 polychrome mosaic glass beads of circular and oval shapes. Seven beads are decorated with stylised human faces in yellow and white glass, with the eyes, brows, noses and mouths detailed in black and red and enclosed by contrasting borders.
