Blue & case colored finish w/ silver finished brass back strap & trigger guard. 1 Piece walnut grips. Bbl., frame, cyl., grip straps, loading lever & wedge have matching S#'s. CONDITION: bbl. retains 70% dull fading blue w/ series of sm. dents on right side above the wedge. Cyl. finish has faded to gray & retains vivid roll engraved scene. Action retains traces of colors fading to gray showing sm. spots of pitting. Grip straps retain sm. amounts of silver finish that have acquired a very dark tarnish. Grips show moderate wear w/ scratches & marks. Bore is generally bright w/ strong rifling showing sm. spots of very light pitting. (01-16877/DS). ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
