COLT JUNIOR PISTOL .25 ACP SEMI AUTO

[ translate ]

SERIAL NUMBER: OD93913. BARREL: 2 1/8:. CALIBER: .25ACP. MANUFACTURED: 1970-1972. The Colt Junior .25 ACP is a compact, pocket-sized semi-automatic pistol originally introduced in the late 1950s as a licensed version of the Spanish Astra Cub. Following the Gun Control Act of 1968, which banned the importation of small firearms, Colt shifted assembly to the United States around 1970 using domestic frames, introducing the "OD" serial number prefix found on the user's specific model. Chambered in the diminutive .25 ACP cartridge, this single-action firearm features an exposed rowel hammer, a six-round detachable box magazine, and a thumb safety that doubles as a slide lock for disassembly. It is equipped with simple, low-profile fixed sights, a checkered manual magazine release at the bottom of the left grip panel, and distinctive checkered wood featuring the iconic Colt medallion. Designed primarily for discreet concealed carry and personal defense, the lightweight pocket pistol remained in production until Colt permanently discontinued the line in 1973. CONDITION: Fair. The bore is lightly frosted. Much of the blueing has faded. There are areas of frost on the gun. Operates normally. C&R 27-287
