SERIAL NUMBER 21688, BARREL 4-1/2" CALIBER .41 COLT, MANUFACTURED 1895. First successful swing out cylinder double action by Colt. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with Colt legend at top . Matching assembly numbers found on frame, cylinder and grips. 3 line barrel address with last patent date being 1888. Revolver is an even grey patina with no finish remaining. Grips are very good with no cracks or material loss. Action operates properly. Bore is lightly pitted with strong rifling. A wonderful late cowboy era revolver. ANTIQUE
