COLT NAVY 1851 PERCUSSION REVOLVER; PERIOD CASE

The Colt Navy 1851 Percussion Revolver is iconic and symbolizes the Wild West like no other handgun. Used by such notables as Wild Bill Hickok, Buffalo Bill Cody and Calamity Jane. Navy Colt patent no. 95218; produced circa 1860. Including period leather lined case with powder dispenser flask, percussion caps in tin & bullet mold. Matching serial number 95218 is found on the barrel, frame, cylinder etc. With impressed address Sam L Colt Hartford CT on top of octagonal barrel. Walnut grips. Dimensions: (Case) H 2.75" x W 13.75" x D 6" Condition: Nice patina to metal. Case has a split to wood. Wear consistent with age.
Condition: All the items in this auction remain at our gallery location in Norwalk, CT for pickup. Preview is by appointment, Monday-Friday, 9:30-4:30. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Tuesday, Wednesday December 1st- Friday, December 10th, 9am-5pm, WEEKDAYS.
