Cal. 45 ACP. S# 143536. Mfg. 1917. Per "U.S. PISTOLS & REVOLVERS 1909-1945" by J.C. Harrison, appears to have most correct parts including Colt 5" Type 4 barrel and double diamond checkered walnut grips; Type C safety lock tab. CONDITION: frame and barrel have bead-blasted arsenal style refinish with scratches and wear. Slide has traces of original blue with balance brown patina with scratches and marks. Fair worn grips. Bore shows worn rifling with light pitting. (26-3625/MD). CURIO. $1,200-1,800.
