CONDITION REPORT :
Good overall condition despite the inevitable losses and marks in accordance with age and use. The catalogue illustration is accurate. Some scratches and marks to the marble top. One small accident and loss to the rear right hand side area of the marble top. The bronze mounts are associated, as stated in the catalogue. Few losses to the veneer in places (to the commode's apron, the upper area of the lower drawer, the area relying the lowest to the middle drawer and the area between the highest and the middle drawer). Two small losses to the veneer to the lower left hand side area of the commode. Shrinkage cracks on both sides of the commode. The veneer is slightly sun faded.
