Cal. 44 RF. S# 1051 (under right grip panel). The 4" octagon barrel is marked on top "CONNECTICUT ARMS & MANF. CO. NAUBUC CONN." with a German silver small blade front sight. Pivoting breech block with the unlock button, acting as a rear sight, marked "PATENTED OCT 25, 1864". Round butt frame with a spur trigger. Matching-numbered two-piece hard rubber grips. CONDITION: fair overall. Metal has a gray patina appearance with numerous marks and light prior pitting. Good grips with cracks on the backs around the grip screw. Unable to hold at full cock. Good bore with strong rifling and spots of pitting. (01-25057/MD). ANTIQUE. $200-300.
