associated late 18th century watch movement, gilded full plate, verge escapement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, quarter repeating on two later coiled gongs, signed Humbert Droz, associated late 19th century enamel dial painted with floral swags, Arabic numerals, gold drum case surmounted by an urn with a plunge repeat finial, octagonal base containing an associated musical movement playing a single air at will, decorated with spiralling blue enamel and engraved floral motifs, pearl-set bezel, later 19th century polychrome enamel plaque to the base depicting a couple within a landscape
height 170mm

Condition Report:
Movement: running at the time of cataloguing, repeating mechanism trying to strike but not hitting the gongs
Dial: restoration throughout. Hands loose
Case: chips and signs of restoration throughout. Base with thin soldered panel. Chips to the glass which is loose.
