CONVERTED GERMAN MILITARY MUSKET

BARREL 34". BORE 70. Early 19th century musket that was converted to percussion and shortened. Features two barrel bands with brass fore-end retainer. Action is stamped Suhl. Barrel is dated 1831 with 48 unit stamp. Musket has one piece hardwood stock and comes with sling swivels. Metal is smooth patina. Butt plate has unit marks as well. Trigger guard and side plate are brass. Very good. A
