CORAL, SEED PEARL AND DIAMOND NECKLACE AND PAIR OF EARRINGS

The necklace composed of coral beads measuring approximately 8.3 to 5.3 mm, accented by two geometric plaques set with old European, single-cut and baguette diamonds, splitting into two strands at the front spaced with seed pearls, length 14¼ inches; together with a pair of pendant-earrings set with coral cabochons and rose-cut diamonds, suspending drop-shaped coral; circa 1925, the earrings with later post fittings. With 37 additional coral beads.

Condition Report:
In good condition, with minor surface scratches and tarnish to the mountings commensurate with age and wear. The mountings test as platinum. Earrings numbered 9691 or 1696. The coral beads are medium red orange, well matched in color. The seed pearls are of white body color, with overall good skin and luster, variously shaped, measuring approximately 3.3 to 2.9 mm. The diamonds on the necklace estimated to weigh a total of approximately 0.55 carat, approximately G-H color, VS clarity. The diamonds on the earrings estimated to weigh approximately 0.30 carat are near colorless, bright and lively. Earring length approximately 1⅞ inch. Fitted with posts and butterfly backings.
