11 Cosmonauts here pledge their allegiance to the Soviet Union and to "all humanity." Signers include: first person in space YURI GAGARIN, second person to orbit the Earth GHERMAN TITOV, ANDRIYAN NIKOLAYEV, first woman in space VALENTINA TERESHKOVA, PAVEL POPOVICH, VALERY BYKOVSKY, first person to die in a space flight VLADIMIR KOMAROV, KONSTANTIN FEOKTISTOV, first physician in space BORIS YEGOROV, PAVEL BELYAYEV and first person to walk in space ALEXEI LEONOV.
