COSTA RICAN COLT LIGHTING MUSKET SABER BAYONET

Extremely rare saber bayonet for the Costa Rican Colt Lightning Musket. Only about 250 of these muskets were manufactured for the Costa Rican military in the late 19th century. This bayonet is in outstanding condition, with bright mirror finish blade and mustard brass patina on the hilt. Leather scabbard has brass throat and chape, and is excellent.
