Modern half crushed levant antique over early marbled boards, raised bands, spine gilt. Provenance: Joseph Hill (contemporary signature on half–title). FIRST EDITION, a firsthand account of Lady Craven’s travels through France, Austria, Poland, Russia, Turkey and Greece, written in the form of letters addressed from Lady Craven to her future husband, the Margrave of Ansbach.
