CREIL ET MONTEREAU YELLOW CREAMWARE COFFEE POT C. 1830, H 8.5"Pedestal base. Black transfer on canary yellow ground. Creil et Montereau Faïenceries operated in the French communes of Creil, Oise, and Montereau, from 1797 until 1876 under Lebeuf Milliet & Cie. They introduced the technique of transfer printing on a creamware type pottery in France in the 19th century. Dimensions: Condition Report: The coffeepot has a 1/4" chip to the base, a couple of chips to the spout, and a nick to the inner rim. The lid has a chip to the glaze.
