CRISP COLT MODEL 1860 ARMY REVOLVER
SERIAL 7222. BARREL 8". CALIBER .44 PERCUSSION. MADE IN 1861. This revolver was made during the first year of the Civil War. It is a standard model that is cut for a shoulder stock and features full round barrel, six shot, single action with complete cylinder naval scene. Back strap is steel while trigger guard is brass. The one piece walnut grips are excellent. Action is tight. Bore is extremely clean. Metal is basically a smooth, very nicely toned patina. All matching numbers including wedge.
