CULTURED PEARL AND DIAMOND NECKLACE, DAVID WEBB

Composed of three strands of cultured pearls measuring from approximately 13.7 to 10.0 mm, the gold clasp of woven design set with round diamonds, internal circumference 18 inches, signed David Webb.

Condition Report:
In good condition, the mounting with light surface scratches commensurate with light wear. The stringing moderately loose and with a few frayed areas; may benefit from restringing by a jeweler. Mounting stamped 18k and 900PT for platinum. The round to slightly off-round cultured pearls of cream body color, with soft to strong rose and aubergine overtones, good luster with a few examples of fair luster, and moderately blemished with a few heavily blemished examples, with pitting, ringing and a few with slightly wrinkled skins, not immediately noticeable when worn. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 6.70 carats, are approximately G-I color, VS clarity. Clasp length approximately 1¾ inches. Lift tab on the short end of the clasp to open.
