CULTURED PEARL AND DIAMOND NECKLACE

Composed of 62 graduated black cultured pearls measuring from approximately 14.5 to 10.6 mm, completed by a boule-shaped clasp set with round diamonds, length 31¾ inches, detachable into three sections for variety of wear.

Condition Report:
In good condition, the mounting and string with light wear, not noticeable when worn; string is frayed in a couple areas and may benefit from restringing by a jeweler. Clasp stamped 750 for 18 karat (white) gold. Clasp also stamped Marshall. The cultured pearls are of dark gray body color, with soft to strong peacock overtones, very good to good luster, and minor to moderate blemishing including pitting and slightly wrinkled skins. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.90 carats, are approximately G-I color, VS-SI clarity, one bearing a chip noticeable under 10x magnification. Necklace detaches into three sections measuring approximately 16¾, 7¾ and 7¼ inches for variety of wear.
