CULTURED PEARL, ROCK CRYSTAL AND DIAMOND SAUTOIR

Designed as torsades of cultured pearls, spaced by carved rock crystal, accented by round diamonds, supporting a detachable pendant designed as a tassel, length 32½ inches, detachable into one 17-inch and two 7¾-inch sections for variety of wear.

Condition Report:
In good condition, the mountings with light surface scratches commensurate with light wear, not noticeable when worn. The stringing slightly loose in a few areas; may benefit from restringing by a jeweler. Mountings stamped 750 for 18 karat (white) gold. The cultured pearls, measuring from approximately 4.0 to 2.8 mm, are of ivory to cream body color, with soft to moderate rose, aubergine and green overtones, good luster, and minor to moderate blemishing including pitting and slightly wrinkled skins. The rock crystal is eye clean to slightly included, a couple links bearing small chips not noticeable when worn, with evidence of adhesive which has slightly yellowed. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 8.80 carats, are approximately G-I color, VS clarity with a few SI examples. Tassel length approximately 3¾ inches.
