ACTION RIFLE. Cal.6.5x55 Swedish. S# 317832. Bbl. 24", original military has custom 2 section fluting; action dated 1913. Custom action features include welded low swing bolt handle, altered to cock on opening and Bold adjustable trigger with safety right of top tang. Custom bottom metal has floorplate release in trigger guard bow. Receiver rings have added open holes for scope mount attachment; 2 front, 1 rear. Bright blued bolt handle and body; all other metal is matte finished. Custom classic style stock of Bastogne walnut has tight fiddle figure with alternating red and dark tones. Features include: straight comb, shadow line cheekpiece, palm swell, ebony tip & grip cap plus 4 panel point pattern hand checkering. Solid red Decelerator pad; 13 3/8" LOP. Front sling swivel is bbl. band mounted. Glass bedded with pillars. Weight: 7 lbs., 2 oz. CONDITION: 90% bead blasted blue. Stock finish shows small marks. Rear guard screw too short; only secured by 1 thread. Occasional, very faint stock marks; generally near excellent. The bore shows darkness in the grooves. (26-2360). MODERN. $700-1,000.
