SERIAL NUMBER: 3390 BARREL: 23 5/8" CALIBER: 264 WIN MAG. MANUFACTURED: 1900's Metal is blue finish barrel with a full rib. Ramped front sight and a (2) blade flip rear sight. A coin finish receiver that is fully engraved and has floral pattern with game animals. The cartage door engraved with the letter B and follows the same pattern. The trigger guard is engraved with double set triggers. Action is set into grade 2 walnut with checkering at the pistol grip. The receiver is marked on the top with G.L. RAUSCH . BRAUNSWIEG. It has been drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The butt plate is done in a basket weave pattern. This is a very fine example of a true German game rifle. Bore is bright with strong rifling.
