Ca 1970 Two-Rein Braided Horse Hair/ Rawhide Bosal

Featured in this lot is this two-rein braided horse hair and rawhide bosal circa 1970's. The bosal features a wonderfully and professionally braided construction that shows a horse hair set of reins and mecate and the bosal proper is braided from treated rawhide all housed on a sturdy leather headstall. The condition of this Bosal is preserved with some wear to the leather headstall consistent with use and age and some wear to the horsehair rein s but otherwise shows a preserved condition. The overall measurements of this 27 1/2" x 10". The collective weight of this bosal is 2lb 2oz.
