Magnificent solid wooden Japanese jewellery cabinet from the Meiji/Taisho period, decorated with cranes, tree branches and flowers in gold paint against an oxblood red background, the drawers and doors on the inside are painted black. Cracks and small blemishes in the paint, a few places without paint. There is no key available. A hinge is missing on the right side, there are two shrinkage cracks at the back, so the top right drawer does not close properly, the handle on the left drawer is missing, the inside of the left and right door is missing paint in a few places.
