Two section restored and fully functional Japanese cabinet (Yonezawa tansu) from the Shonai region. Dark red lacquered clothing cabinet with extraordinary and elaborate hardware, large lockplates and petal-shaped iron handles. The lockplates are decorated with chrysanthemum flowers. The cabinet has 7 drawers in different sizes; 5 spacious drawers and behind the revolving door 2 extra drawers. There are no keys with this cabinet. Meiji period. Size H. : 109 cm W. : 116 cm.
