Oak cabinet, Louis XVI cabinet with original carving and fittings.
Entirely in the style of Mathias Soiron, (1748-1834) Dutch architect active in Maastricht, South Limburg and Belgium.
Special piece of furniture, structure quite unique, different from usual in the 18th century.
Large hood with beautiful mouldings, wide overhang.
Wide door needle with veneer inlay. The pattern is reflected in the diagonally placed side posts on the base cabinet
Wall cabinet with fluted side posts with fluted acanthus leaves and rosettes.
Lock and key working (original) .
Furniture is complete with internal drawers and shelves and oak back. Base cabinet drawers very spacious, wide and deep. The whole can be dismantled.
Very nice wax patina, color and shine
Dutch furniture, circa 1760-1780
Dimensions:
H= 244 cm.
W= 160 - 205 cm. (narrowest-widest)
D= 58 - 84 cm. (shallowest-deepest)
Not yet checked for loose parts of construction and veneer. Can be arranged in consultation.
Can be used straight away.
