Cadillac - Coupé de Ville série spéciale paquet or - 1956
Cadillac Coupe Deville from 1956. Authentic with style 56-6237 DX, not a simple 62 series. Delivered with the gold package (anodised gold and 24-carat gold-plated grille and emblems) . This vehicle is complete. Restored in the Netherlands by a restoration specialist as a display vehicle for exhibitions, it has not been welded or involved in any accidents. Rebuilt from bare metal, the chrome was refurbished, except for a few small parts, the paintwork is very nice, without scratches or chips from rocks. The condition is really exceptional, finding a comparable one is very difficult. Parts replaced in June 2019: new steering, new white sidewall tyres (from the USA) , new battery, brakes (front/rear cylinders + linings) , leaf springs and shock absorbers + fuel pump and ignition + new coil. It drives like a modern car of today, even on the major roads without any problems. This Cadillac has electric windows, seats, antenna and boot which can be opened at the touch of a button and retracted electronically. A modern radio with CD player was installed in the glove compartment. Registered in Belgium as a classic car, the MOT and car pass are OK. This vehicle can be viewed in Mouscron, Belgium.
